Master Racks Limited is a pioneer and leading manufacturer of industrial racking and storage systems in Bangladesh. Established in 2017 as the third sister concern of The Tool Master & Engineering Co. (founded in 1983), we were born with a mission to revolutionize the local racking industry.
What began as a bold vision has today evolved into a trusted brand with over 600 completed projects, a 75,000 sq. ft. factory, and a workforce of more than 200 skilled professionals. Our Journey
The story of Master Racks Limited is one of vision, perseverance, and innovation. Our Managing Director, Al-Mamun, was inspired while visiting racking factories abroad. He noticed that a significant number of skilled workers in this sector were Bangladeshi. Many of them expressed a dream of having a world-class racking manufacturing company in their own country.
Guided by this vision and with the encouragement of our Chairman, Mohammad Shahabuddin, we set out to establish Bangladesh’s first dedicated industrial racking factory. The challenge was not easy — convincing the local market to trust Bangladeshi-made products over imported ones required determination and perseverance.
But by focusing on international quality standards, modern engineering, and reliable service, we quickly gained the trust of major industries. Within just a few years, our efforts reduced Bangladesh’s dependency on imported racking systems by over 90%.
Managing Director’s Message
Master Racks Limited has a long and self-righteous story of success & struggle in the Racking industry. When I was moving around Rack factories abroad, I noticed that most of the workers in this industry are Bangladeshi. Moreover, they are good at this sector. And they also wished to establish a racking manufacturing factory in Bangladesh.
It touched my heart and hit a plan in my mind to establish such kind of manufacturing factory in our country. With my mentor’s suggestions, we take the risk of manufacturing steel racks for the very first time in Bangladesh in 2017.
It was the most difficult challenge to remove the old ideologies and thoughts about local products among the local people. But with our product quality & services, we overcome that issue very soon. Now we are completing 600+ projects. And we are now the leading Industrial Manufacturing Company in Bangladesh. All of our employees are working hard and Engineers are planning scientifically to reduce accidents and maximize space.
Within the last 5 years, Racking Industry in Bangladesh has reduced 90% to 92% of imported products. I hope and believe that very soon our local racking industry will fully reduce the importing section from Bangladesh rather will export it to the world within 2024 which will be led by our company.
As success has no boundaries, we will be ready for moving forward with intellectual weapons and technology wide open to accept all the challenges that the new age will offer.

Founding of The Tool Master & Engineering Co. (1983)
In 1983, Late Abdul Alim founded The Tool Master & Engineering Co. with a vision to provide intelligent solutions for efficient air movement in both industrial plants and homes. The company very soon expanded its 3 child companies.

With a long-term plan in mind, Al Mamun and his partner, Md. Nasimul Houqe, envisioned providing another solution to the industrial sector. They recognized the potential to establish a racking manufacturing factory in Bangladesh, driven by the desire to tap into the expertise and skills of Bangladeshi workers in the racking industry.
Inspiration and Motivation
Al Mamun was inspired during his travels to foreign factories, where he noticed that many skilled workers in the racking industry were from Bangladesh. He felt compelled to create opportunities for these qualified professionals in their home country. Encouraged by his preceptor, Mohammad Shahabuddin Sir, who served as the chairman of Master Racks Limited, Al Mamun decided to take the risk of manufacturing steel racks locally.
The Journey of Master Racks Limited Begins (2017)
In 2017, Master Racks Limited commenced its operations as the 3rd sister concern of The Tool Master & Engineering Co. The company began with 50,000 sqft of factory area and assembled a team of 50 experienced and skilled engineers, recruited through diligent efforts, going door-to-door.

Despite the initial challenges of convincing customers about the quality of locally manufactured products, Master Racks Limited persevered. By adhering to international standards and delivering top-notch products and services, the company gained the trust and confidence of its clients. The transformation of local perspectives toward the quality of domestic products has been a significant achievement for Master Racks Limited.
Present Day
Master Racks Limited now operates on 75,000 sqft of factory and employs over 150 experienced workers. It has a corporate office in Dhaka & Chittagong. The company has completed 600+ projects and is a reputable player in the racking industry. The journey of Master Racks Limited has been a testament to determination, hard work, and commitment to delivering excellence in the racking sector.
